And the Fun Continues

Well we are in the middle of another snow storm here. Earlier the flakes were so big and beautiful that if it wasn't the end of march we all probably would have been outside dancing in the flakes and sticking out our tongues; s it is we are kind of tired of seeing snow....it was almost gone just last week (at least the small piles). We have been out of school for about a week. I just learned that school will be back in session by Friday. Now had I heard this last Thursday/Friday I would have been jumping for joy but now that the kids and I have gotten a routine down and are enjoying the time home I really do not want them to go back. We had a lot of fun reverting back to our toddler years at home today by making play dough. It was a lot of fun and reminded me of all the things I used to do with the kids when they were home all the time.

Thank you everyone for your prayers. God sure is awesome. So do you think I have to shovel again or will it just melt?

And Now We Wait

After the last few days of hurry, hurry, help, we are now playing the waiting and seeing game. I have heard but not seen that Fargo seems almost silent as though everyone is waiting while holding there breath as the river rises. We have become more busy in our little town. Our Catholic Church has become a nursing home, our school a Red Cross Shelter and our Ambulance station the go two place in case Fargo does go under. It is very unreal. In the middle of all this we have learned that school has been called off until further notice, which would have usually put me in a tail spin but we are actually getting into a good pattern now at home. We are also celebrating my oldest son's 11th Birthday. How can he be eleven...I think all parents say this about their children no matter what age they are turning! :) We could still use many prayers that everything holds up here. Also keep praying for Stellan and his family.

Asking for Help

Please come up and help with the sandbagging. The crest changed from 41 feet to 42-43 feet and it could stay for as long as 7 days. If you need a place to stay you can come to our house. Email me at ang_bears@hotmail.com If you can not physically make it send many prayers our way. We are not personally(meaning our house) affected by the flood but we have many friends who are.

Asking for Prayers Again

Here in the Red River we are slowly losing the fight with mother nature. We started with flooding and now have a blizzard which has basically stopped travel. I am asking for prayers that the dikes and Levis in the Red River hold and that enough volunteers are able to come out and help with the the sandbagging efforts. Pray that as many homes can be saved as possible and that no lives are taken.

Pray for Stellan

We have prayed for this family many times, we have seen many miracles and have praised with them. They are in need of prayer again. To see more of their story here is their blog address:http://www.mycharmingkids.net/. Please pray for Stellan and pass this note along.
