Homework Blahs

Okay, I graduated from High School and College and I celebrated...I would have no homework. Unfortunately no one mentioned all the homework I would be doing once the kids were in school. Now with all three in school, I feel like I have more homework than when I was in school! Sometimes it is very frustrating. For example, your child not understanding the the word "bat" is the same on every page of a book they have to read; it is not going to change. Also 2+2 will never be 5 or even 6, it will always be 4. Oh the joys of teaching. Usually I do not mind, but I guess tonight I am feeling a little overwhelmed. Each night I am doing homework with one child or another from 5pm-8 or 9pm.
Anyway, enough about my homework. As many of you know we have a little "house" project in the works. We are finally seeing the end of the tunnel. Some of the flooring will be put in this Friday and the rest will be put in next week then we can move! Yee Haw! It has been a long time coming. And no I am not talking about our addition to our current house, this is just the finishing touches on our "temporary" house. I plan to move in, relax, enjoy it, and figure out what actual family time is again before even discussing our more permanent house plans.
I am mumbling a lot about nothing tonight, but hey, this is my adult time and "B" is working on the other house so I need to talk to someone.
I am so excited..we have recently started looking into different churches and I think we have found one that is going to be a good match. The children have been going there for two years already for AWANA and we just recently started going there on Sunday. Anyway after the second Sunday "D" was excited because he was reading out of the Bible. Well this past week I figured out what Bible it was and purchased it for him. Now every night he reads out of his Bible to the family. It is so wonderful to see his interest in reading the Bible. I love it!
"F" is growing so fast. He is already eating rice cereal and turning over. His latest trick has been talking to us. This usually entails minutes of screeching (a happy screech) at us. "C" is planning his very first science project and very excited about it. I am hoping he picks the popcorn experiment, that way I can eat lots of popcorn. "E" is going through a stretching period, testing the water, etc. She is spending a lot of time in her special chair in the corner, hopefully this won't last long. She is also looking forward to going on a mother/daughter date with me. We are going to go see High School Musical 3.
So there is a little update on our family. Hope all is well in your lives and may God Bless you and your family.
